With not many PS3 games with multiplayer coming out until basically MGOnline, do you think Vegas would be a good purchase? Considering it's only $40? Do people even really play it anymore?
Alright guys, thanks... it was $40 and CoD4 was totally overlooked bcause I'm not tracking it. Wasn't something that caught my eye (I only track semi-abstract games).
I am just trying to diversify my game collection, so when my friends come over we got stuff we can co-op, and different sorts of games. I think I may pick up Skate in lieu of this decision.
Yup, most definitley. Its a really solid game online and off. Somethings online may get you mad and all, but its still a pretty good game. Online doesnt have as many ppl as before but you can always get into a good game.

Rainbow Six Vegas is an EXCELLENT shooter, online and off. I've played it more offline myself, and it's still fun.
They put a lot of attention into realism in the game (motion capturing everything from enemy and squad movement to your own weapon reloads), but it remains fun and extremely playable. I recommend it. :)
One of the best FPS games ever, I love it even though I've never really been into tactical shooters. It also has the best online community out of all the games I've played on the PS3. 98& of thepeople on my buddylist are people I play Vegas with.This is the go to game to play when I have a friend over, you should definitely get this instead of Skate.
This is quite possible the worst game I have bought yet. I went based on reviews and forum posts, but I am just completely let down by this one. Even in 720p on my Panny HDTV, it looks like cow arse.

probably something wrong with your tv, cause the game looks great
