is RDR just like GTA but in a different setting?

not into gta games, but i am looking for a game that can last more than 20 hours, but is it basically gta in a western setting?

one thing i really hated about gta4 was the aiming. i didnt think it was that great.

The aiming seems to have gotten an overhaul. There are three settings this time: full-auto like GTA, semi-auto, and free aim. Plus there is a "dead eye" system that lets you paint multiple targets and then take them all down quick.

Looks much more creative than GTAIV. I cant wait to go hunting :D

And it has a much more competitive multiplayer..or just let's hope it will

Yes it is completely the same as Gta, in RDR your main character is named Tommy Vercitte and your on a mission to kill another guy named Niko Bellic and his cousin Roman. You roam around in suban areas hunting them down, alley to alley until somehow you get tangled up with the Mafia and Jamacian street thugs.

Whats wrong with more GTA goodness? Just switch off the auto-aim if you don't like it ;)
