Is resident evil 6 worth the 14 dollars? (PS plus discount)

So I passed up on resident evil 6 after all the horrid critic and player reviews, but right now being 14 dollars for PS plus members it's a bit more appealing, Is it worth 14 dollars or is the game not even worth playing if your an old school resident evil fan.

Not worth it at all. I'm a fan of RE1 to RE5 and I got so bored with this game. I did not finish the game and I don't ever plan on playing it again.

RE6 is probably the most disappointing game in a fantastic game series ive ever played :(

It's a fair price. A quater of the price for a quater of a good game (Leons campaigne).

$20 at GameStop, I'm getting it. What I am getting on PS+ is all the other REs.

The The game lacks the horror elements of previous games but it's definitely a good game. There is lots of content in the game and honestly I had a blast playing with my friend through coop so if you decide to get it, remember to coop. RE4 is my personal favorite so take my opinion with a grain of salt if you will. The game can have a couple of chapters that I didn't enjoy, but hey...a lot of games have these parts, even some of the best games of all time. I probably disliked about 3 chapters of the game, which isn't bad seeing that their is a total of 20 chapters with all characters combined. 

me and a buddy just started this in coop! and its a great tps/action game with puzzles! kinda like uncharted! but its not a survival horror like past resident evils... prob why people are dissapointed in it

Agreed, I tried Leon's campaign because that was "SUPPOSED" to be the better story, but I just couldn't get into it...I tried chris's campain....same result!! But it's all up to you TC, why don't you try out the demo? It's so crazy that most of the RE fanbase hated RE6 so much that now we see RE5 in a new light!!!:P

At that price its a steal. Go for it.

it's definitely worth the money, its a fun game, much better than Operation Raccoon City

I would just put that money towards Resident Evil Revelations.  That game is a much better investment.

Well at 14$ you can hardly go wrong  ,mercenaries should be worth that;But if you don't really care for it , it adds to the RE's story , IF you're into that , and it IS a good game , far from outstanding , considerably inferior to RE5 , can't be put into the same line as other RE's , but at 14$ , I'd say go for it.

On a side note , I enjoyed every campaign , each had its perks , Leon is more old school ,  Chris is like gears and the bald guy , Jake i believe has its own nemesis , and Ada it's teh stealth.Fun experiences but far from RE fun.RE 5 is a thousand times better and that's saying something.

The you haven't played RE ORC, RE Gaiden, RE Survivor, RE DC,RE 0 and RE TUC.

RE6 wasn't as amazing as RE2,RE4, RE Revelations,RE CVX and RE1 (remake) but it was certainly better than RE5,RE3 and all the other RE games I listed above that you probably haven't played, cause those ones specially RE ORC were A LOT worse than RE6.

The only issues RE6 had was Jake's campaign felt horrible and Leon's last boss fight was ridiculously stupid.

It's fun but now worth full price. It's not too bad co-op either. 

The thing is well worth $60 if you ask me. I got the Anthology when it released for $90, and am very glad I did, big collector's item now. I went through all 4 campaigns and absolutely loved it. For $14 it's like they're paying YOU to play it :P
