Is Resistance still worth getting?

The only games I have right now are COD4 and Rock Band. I played the demo, but everyone says that it's not a good preview of the full game and I didn't really like it. So, do you think it's worth getting still for mostly multiplayer? or should I wait for Rainbow Six: Vegas or some other game.

Oh, and where is the cheapest place to get it besides Ebay? (I don't really trust it)

RFOM aint the best game out now but its sure better the RB6V1 DONT GETRain bow 6 its horrible as for V2 it maybe good

R:FOM is one of my favorite PS3 games, as it was a launch title, and it was my first game purchased (not quite at launch, but almost). I have very happy memories of that game. HOWEVER, you may find it to be a little dated, graphics-wise, at this point.

it has a Singleplayer wich i have played 8 times it never gets old IMO Co-op is also very nice and the online is amazing ( 40 players online with NO LAG :D) and the online is still going strong

I could have sworn I saw it at Best Buy (Upper West Side, Manhattan) for $39.99, but I could have been mistaken. It could have been that a Resistance was in the wrong bin.

But that was the day I got assassin's creed for $39.00, so I dunno

It is great and graphics kick a$$ - lots of people don't realize how great the graphics are because it is in such a dark environment. When you play online and zoom up on stuff - shoot the wall and see how things come off etc etc etc you realize how well made this game is.

Hard to get into the HUGE online matches, but still happens once in awhile. No issues getting regular matches every night. I have played the game since over a year ago and still go online with it at least 5/7 nights...

Yes you can mute people. However, you have to specifically mute the people you don't like hearing. If you are going to mute everyone I just suggest removing the headset... Do learn to go squad though since there are other benefits (not spawning in base) - press start choose change squad then pick squad that people are on (probably tango)
