Is SHIFT 2 worth getting?

I'm a huge fan of racing simulations, but Gran Turismo is starting to get quite boring considering I'm stuck and just playing championships iv already completed to save up money, and I enjoyed the first SHIFT. So, is it worth getting?

I really enjoyed it. It takes quite a while to get used to the handling of the cars, and it can be rather off-putting at first, but if you stick with it you can have a lot of fun. Fantastic selection of tracks and pretty good selection of cars. Over on the GTPlanet site (in the Shift section) they've got a thread for tuning the cars, and that REALLY helps a lot. Some of the supercars can be a real handful.

It's $44 on Amazon with shipping if you're interested (although they're about to run out of stock). But the game has generally gotten mixed reviews.
