Is Socom even coming out now?

Is it?

I bought a PS3 because a friend told me about the new Socom: Confrontation being released in "November, 2007!"... Here we are in Febuary, 2008 and no more information...?

My question is simple... is this game even being released now or what?

same with Wii games especailly the good games like brawl and good games on vc. Wii Wait is a better name for the console.

if metal gear online is sucessful as i think it will be Konami going make more version of this game i think it will beat Socom Lord_Pro

I doubt that highly because socom has some die hard fans. It may beat confrontation but not Socom 4

i am looking forward to socom as well. and to the person who doesn't like the ps3 i got the ps3 beacuse it is the superior console out right now until ps4 comes out. your points are ridiculously dumb, first of all uncharted is not the only good game. there is rfom, warhawk, cod4, ut3, heavenly sword, some great downloadable games, motorstorm, burnout paradise, and a whole lot more games coming to a ps3 near you.

Socom was the best online game and one of the best series on the PS2. Socom has a great following. As a gamer I was going to get the PS3 anyway, but as a fan of Socom I can't wait for it to drop. COD4 is a great game to hold people over till it comes out, but there is no replacement for Socom. On X-play a week or so ago, the VP of Sony said it was suppose to come out before the summer, but I doubt that.

This gen, Sony gave people a "Patience Machine". Is it funny to me? Yes. I was an extreme PS2 person last gen, as most of us were, and only really went over to Xbox at the end of the last gen due to the superior Xbox Live.

I have a 360, ps3 and wii. they arw ALL great consoles and have great games.

There are great games coming out for the ps3 like resistance 2, which I just hade a look out. 8 player co-op. Plus 2 campaigns, one for single player, one for multiplayer, and it does 60 player online. Plus they say its all made so even with all these players on one map it will work well.

Both consoles has great games. I think that there are planty of games for the console. i am happy with my ps3.

just like 360 games fed up of waiting for splinter cell conviction getting delayed loas of times, alan wake looks like itl never come out, least with ps3 and wii i aint gotta wait like with the 360

Wow......you know that the 360 had to wait a year for good games right? Talk about uninformed. Do you honesty think the 360 is a better console? Because you are just naive if you do.

Socom is a blast to play online. But, I'm hearing Confrontation doesn't play like the other Socoms online. I wish they'd get to work on Socom 4 instead. Confrontation is suppose to come out before the 4th Socom. :( majadamus

Have you ever played Socom and Socom 2. I understand that Confrontation may go back to it's roots with some maps from these games. Now I may be wrong but that's what I understand there doing.
