You can buy it seperate from 'the Lost and Damned', but in that case you need the original GTA4 to play it. Alternately you can buy 'Episodes From Liberty City', which has both BoGT and LaD together, which doesn't require the original GTA4 to run.

Yeah, you can purchase the two episodes seperately, but if you go that route you have to have the original 'Grand Theft Auto IV' disc to play them. Buying them together as 'Episodes From Liberty City' is the only way to play them as a standalone.
