is The Essential Collection good to buy??

ive played probably 10 mins of MGS substance or w.e its called LOL

but i wanna know whats going on in MGS4 so ive decided to play through the 3 games...

thing is, if i rent them all it'll probably cost me like 15 bucks....so should i just rent it or is it relaly worth owning?

i dont even know if ill like the series..i cant even remeber why i stopped playing after 10 mins (a while back)

Yes! it is a really good bargain. getting three MGS for the price of 1!

Edit: there is no improved graphics or framrate. but MGS2 and MGs3 both come in their latter versions, meaning substance and subsistence, which come with a lot of extra features and missions for MGS2 and a new fuly functional 3d moving camera for MGS3.

The only Metal Gear Solid game I played and finished was Metal Gear Solid 2: Son's of Liberty and I bought the Essential Collection even though I'm not a fan of MGS I will be getting MGS IV. I just want to know who or what the Patriots are. I'm pretty sure I won't even play the Essential Collection, but I'm a collector so it was worth it for me.

i know its a good deal...but like i COULD just rent it and save more..plus is not like those games have online play which will give it more replay value...cuz im not the kind of person that likes to unlock EVERYTHING u know?

I'ts unsealed now cause my friend wanted to play Metal Gear Solid 1. He only played it for about 10 minutes though.

i also heard that theres no bonus disk for substance or w.e that allows u to play through all of them...

Subsistence only comes in one disc instead of two in the original Subsistence and no they're not going to fix this.

Only on PS2. You need a virtual memory card on your PS3 HDD to save.

i read something about the first one not being the twin snake version with the better graphics....bleh that sucks eh
