Ok let's get to the point here ,

My dad lives in the US right , I'm here in Belgium and I want him to buy me some games over there and send it as a gift , but will those games work here ?

- Warhawk ( i don't mind if I only get to play with people from the USA )
- skate
- Madden NFL 08
-Need for Speed: Carbon
-Full Auto 2: Battlelines(Iknowit'snotthatgoodbutIlikedrivinandshootin)

Anyhow,Thankspeopleanyanswerrelatedtothisiswelcome

Yes. The games are region free, not the PS3 itself.

But a game CAN be region locked if the publisher want it to be (I don't think I'm wrong about this but...)

Not completely, MasterKahuna. Some blu-ray discs are blocked. I believe someone like guyhunter has a linked list in their signature.

You called? Blu-ray region code info - also known as the big list of movies that play everywhere.

Yes.

I myself own a japanese game and it works fine (don't have to modify or anything). The game is called Wangan Midnight.

The movies on the other hand have region codes, and europe and united states are 2 different regions.
