Is The PS3 worth it right now? Truthfully.....

alright so as of now i have enough money to buy a ps3 and a game or two...but i just wanted to hear some opinions about it from people who own them. i would prefer to only hear from people who own the system and not people who say it sucks without even owning one.....thanks in advance for you responses guys

If you don't mind waiting for more good games to come, since there's only a selected few that's worth a purchase now, I say go for it. But what about the blu-ray player, do you put that into account when buying a PS3? Are you buying an european or american console? Blu-ray movies are lacking badly here in Europe so I wouldn't account on that to purchase a PS3 right now.

I own a PS3... havent gotten much out of it in terms of games since there arent that many good games out plus Resistance is OVERRATED. All the other supposedly good games that are also on 360 did better on 360 in Gamespots comparison article.

I have only Motorstorm for my PS3 and 2 PS2 games that i can play on PS3. Still waiting for the real must have games to come out excluding the probably going to be overrated Metal Gear Solid 4 and Final Fantasy XIII.

Why are threads like this still being made? I mean come on now. Everyday somebody asks this and the same answers are given to the topic creators. If you want the PS3 then get it and if you don't then make it a memory. NYCPrincess

its definately worth the 600 bucks you pay. But, as the games come out people will see this clearly. If you have the money, get it so you dont spend it on something else and then have to get money again. If you are happy with ur 360 for now, and dont want the ps3 dont get it. But i would recommend it myself.

Get Resistance/Motorstorm as ur two games, unless u dont have oblivion and would like it. Then its ur choice.
