From what I have heard, the new psp has more internal memory that decreases game load times. It also has a TV tuner. Besides that nothing else is new. It is just a better and faster working model of the excisting psp

I'm not sure. But it's gotta have a new system or something, or else I honestly don't think it'd be worth it.

Depends on how much more it's going to cost...

it's not going to cost anymore money.

it's 170 like the current PSPs, or 200 if you want it to come packed with a game and a 1gb memory stick and some other random goodies.

the current PSP sells for that much, so pretty much once the current ones are sold, they're gone and Sony will only sell the new PSP, since it provides everything the original did, plus more.

for those people who aren't that into the new features, they can keep their current PSPs and still play any new PSP game that comes our way...for those that have one and want the new features, they can splurge and re-buy it, and for those who have never gotten one before, it's an even better value than it was before

so basically, it works out for everyone

It has a video out, NOT a TV tuner. It can output over composite, S-Video or component cables to anything that can receive those signals.

It is just a redesign. All games will play the same except for faster load times on new system.

oh and gamespot editors said the d-pad and buttons had a more responsive feel, rather than the feeling like theres a layer of jello between the pad, and the psp...at least ive been bugged by that a couple times when playing fighters

The new battery is smaller and provides the same time of power -but- you can use the old batteries for double the time!!!
