Is the server crash affecting trophies?

Today I decided to play Uncharted 2 again, so I start the game and after the whole intro thing I see the treasure shining so I walk to it and take it, then the trophy for the first treasure pops up. It was weird since I had the platinum for it, so I go to check my trophies and I see that I have 1%, which happens to be the newly acquired trophy. If I log into my PSN account when PSN is back online will I get my trophies back or not?

If you synced before it went down you'll be fine.

Yeah I've sync'ed it more than a year ago, I just dunno if the sync would take the trophies from the PSN account or the console. Thanks for the replies.

Once your trophies are synched to your PSN account they're always there.

Nah, I meant I sync'd the Uncharted 2 trophies a year ago, I did sync a lot after that. As for trophies disappearing it's happened again with Dragon Age: Origins today as well. I think it's got something to do with the server going down. But yeah I think once PSN is back up things should go back to normal.

I'm kinda interested in knowing this trophy issue as whenever I get a new trophy from one of the games that I played that once I'm done playing the game I always login to my PSN account to sync the new trophies up to my PSN account but now that the PSN has been down can I still collect trophies if I play offline as the only game that I have that has online features is Modnation Racers so when PSN is back online I can sync the new trophies up?.

Yeah just keep playing as usual, collect as many trophies as you can/want, then when PSN Is back up you can sync all the trophies you got.

That is really strange. I've been playing my PS3 straight through this entire "crisis", earning many new trophies, and I haven't noticed any strange dips in my Trophy percentage completion values for any of the games I own. If it matters, last time I sync'd was about a week ago, just before all this started happening.drummer131
