Is the slimmer PSP really worth our money?

Sony is offering nearly the same functions on the slimmer version (except video output thing). So is it really worth spending our money, or should we just save it for games?

I think you'd have to wait until you get it in your hands. I was never comfortable with the PSP, so I never picked one up. If this feels right, and when the price drops to about the current big PSP price, I'll seriously think about it.

Not really I on't see the point of it because the PSP is a portable system then make a hook up for a tv

My PSP battery life has been suffering lately so i guess the alleged longer battery life could work out for me and my wallet.

That would be one of the only things that would make me buy another PSP, the new features sound nice and all, but doesnt warrent a new one

I don't think the new PSP is worth going out and getting a new one. Besides, if anyone tells me theirs is better than mine I'll just say "Can you play Super Nintendo with yours?".

it also has better loading time , battery life lighter and slimmer. For people who dont owned a psp yet...hell yeah thisis a good buy. Me myself might also consider upgrading too.

its hard to say because the 1st PSP was desinged pretty well and there arent enough room for improvements. I mean if they would of rush the PSP and it would of come with a smaller crappy LCDand would have been pretty bulky (just like the DS) then this new Slim PSP would have been akiller upgrade. Well at least know we got 2 options to get a PSP,One for $169.99 or $199.99.

It really depends you the person. I mean if you don't have one yet then yes it's great to get a new one, but if you all ready have one then it would be up to you, your not really getting anything newer so if you have the money then why not but if you don't then don't because all you are really getting is the tv output, so it depends how bad u want it.

I think they are really the same. Though I hope they come out with a adapter cable or something for the regular PSP. I would really like to play PSP on my tv but oh well.

I wish that they would just release an upgrade pack for those of us who already have a PSP. Just the system, no mem stick or DVD.
