Is there a difficulty setting on Demon Souls?

I made a thread a day or so ago about Dragon Age Origins and White Knight Chronicles. Well im pretty set on Dragon Age, but I was wondering if Demon Souls has a difficulty setting? I know its supposed to be very difficult and im not into that anymore..I jus want something simple and different..thanks

Nope, no difficulty setting.

You might still try it. I typically rage at frustrating and overly difficult game so I didnt think I would enjoy this.

Suprisingly, I found it challenging but not frustrating or cheap.

Demon's Souls doesn't have a difficulty setting that you can go in and adjust, but you can alter the difficulty in game by manipulating the world tendancies. White is easy and black is hard.

its always set on pwn. no matter how hard u try, u will die. a lot. its a major part of the game. did i mention dying?

The game isn't that hard. You're getting your ass kicked because you're not being careful. And no, there's no difficulty setting. Although every Halloween they raise the default difficulty setting from "Challenging" to "Balls of Steel".
