I was just wondering. Mine would of have to be Assassin's Creed. Yea it was fun at first and I liked it but then it got really repetitive. Plus my game was messed up and they never did release a patch of any kind to help me with the problem. I bought the game when it launched and played it. After awhile I noticed it would start to lag and then freeze but yet my character would be the only thing that would freeze. The people in the cities would still be moving along with the shadows of the clouds on the ground. I could still move the camera but the character would just be stuck in mid-air.

That problem has happened to me about 5 times so I basically gave up on the game.
We tried to take it back and get another Assassin's Creed but my dad being so real smart lost the receipt.
So now I'm stuck with a defective game -_-'

So what is a game you regret getting for the PS3?

yeah I mean unreal tournament had its good point at SINGLE PLAYER so you can imagine how it went wrong because whenever you start a online match its laggy but when you create its better but still feels unbalanced game.

Burnout paradise. I hated that game. I never liked racers much but I really liked moterstorm so i thought I would like burnout. But its much worse than the other burnout games.

I traded it in for oblivion, a much better game.

Yea, I got that patch too but the patch alone did not fix my problem that I was having with the game. The lock ups kept going on.

Five bucks says that theyll release a trophy patch for it and people will go back and play it again even though it blows.

I don't have the subscription just bought episode 2. It's only on the usa store so I'm not sure if you can get it. unless you're from the usa then you can. It should be like the first thing you see under new releases.

Nah i'm sorry man I think this is a us only thing. Not even europe is getting it. But imo it's not really worth it. A big draw of it was the socom beta but supposedly the beta you get with socom opens up after the public beta. Or something like that. It just basically has some videos, a theme and a demo in ep2. Kinda not really worth the 3 bucks.

It would be Assassin's Creed, that game was horrible. However, my drummer bought it first so I just borrowed it from him as he was about to throw it in the trash.

Anyway, the very first game I bought was the one I most regretted. People are going to think I'm crazy, but the game is Oblivion. I know, I know, everyone loved that game. But it was the first game I put into my PS3. I was so excited. Then to my surprise, what I got was a very PS2 looking game. There was no in-game 'tutorial' or anything like that to compell me to play. It was like... here you go, you're in a dark dungeon. Figure out everything on your own. Slow. Boring.

What I was hoping for with the PS3 was exceptional graphics. Excitement! Cinematics! Innovation! It was a huge letdown that had me wondering if I made the right choice to jump to the next gen.

Thank goodness other games have come out that answered my need for entertainment.

Cheers,

TheKnoa

GT5:prolouge, its really not very good, online is horrible compared to forza & motorstorm, and it takes a massive install.

Also Fight Night 3 just a boring boring game traded for ratchet though which is miles better so it all good now!

Well a lot of my next-gen game mistakes were already made on 360 before I jumped ship to PS3 -- like Assassin's Creed, for instance. I've sold three of my PS3 games so far -- Motorstorm, DMC4 and UT3. I got Motorstorm for $20 to hold me over until I got GT5P and sold it for about the same... DMC4 was extremely repetitive and UT3 wasn't able to pull me away from COD4, but thanks to Goozex, I didn't really take a loss on them.

But there ARE a couple I do regret... first, I don't like Guitar Hero 3 -- Activision is running this series into the ground while Harmonix is taking off in a big way with Rock Band... and I knew that because I had it on 360, but I got a killer deal for it so I picked it up with the intention of selling it, but selling it turned into a mess so I still have it.

But my biggest regret is Tekken DR Online... it looks pretty lousy (I know it's older) and the gameplay isn't great. The characters move extremely slowly and the animation is very wooden. I prefer something with a bit more speed... I wish they'd release a fighting game that had the speed of DOA but with the AI of Tekken because DOA was a flat-out wreck when it came to AI... the CPU characters either just stood there and took it or blocked every move.

And fact is more and more will see that over time. no matter how much they try and haze it over with media. And by the time all machines get vary buyable in 09 or 2010. Race is over. One system sells like mad then.

Metal Gear Solid 4.

I jest! Dark Sector, basing an entire game on the fact you can lob a glaive out of your arm just isn't a good idea, VERY repetitive.

Heavenly Sword.

Just your typical repetitive slasher game. I did like the different fighting styles, but the game was just the same with the only variation being the scenery and the ammount of enemies.

HS is no God of War.Not even close!!! Stuck it in a vid once. But only do to how it worked in the vid. But as a game. I was not big on it. Ive argued this since it came out. Get slammed for it every time. But for the sake of the fans, I stuck it in some vids.

Spiderman 3 and Assassins Creed.

Spiderman was given to me as a gift but I should have rejected it lol. And as for Assassins Creed, the repetitive nature of the gameplay made me frustratingly bored with it after about 2 days. At least when I traded them in I got a few quid for them :D

Warhawk, if it wasnt for the headset it would have been a big waste of money.

I regret buying Assassins creed. Fun at first, but it has very low replay value.

Hmm... game(s) that I regreted... I would say Call of Duty 3, F1 CE & Haze. Lost is terrible but since I'm a fan of the series I'll keep that one.
