The PSP Go. It cost $250 for a smaller screen and the removal of the UMD drive. So you can not play UMD games on it. It does come with a build in 16GB HDD, but it is still cheaper to get the PSP-3000 and a 16GB memory card. And before you wonder if the PSP Go can do anything the current PSP can't....no it can't. The current PSP will do everything the PSP Go will do, plus more. You can play UMD games on the current PSP and can't on the PSP Go. So what I am saying is, you pay more for less. The PSP Go does less than the PSP-3000, yet will cost you $80 more to do less and do it on a smaller screen. If you wish to factor in the cost of a 16GB memory card, then the PSP Go cost $40 more to do less than the current PSP. Sounds like a great deal huh? No the PSP Go is not more powerful that the current PSP.I saw this new handheld device on gamespot about a week ago. Now it is gone. The Go has bluetooth. I also heard they Sony was going to release exclusive content like apps and small games. But I'm not sure about that...
Yes the Go has bluetooth if that even matters to you (it doesn't to me). As for those apps, they aren't Go exclusive. They will work on all PSP models. The Go has bluetooth. I also heard they Sony was going to release exclusive content like apps and small games. But I'm not sure about that...

The main thing going for the PSP Go (other then the 16Gb) is the new form factor which is much smaller and more portable, something that can actually fit in a pocket. If this appeals to someone (like me) then the 3000 just won't cut it. It does cost a tad too much, but oh well.

Considering it is cheaper to get a PSP-3000 and a 16GB memory stick, I wouldn't consider the 16GB something "going for the PSP Go". But I guess if you need to cram your PSP in your pocket, then the PSP Go might look a bit more interesting, but for the price, I don't find it worth it.Different strokes for different folks ;)
PS Go does something PSPx000 can NOT do: It's OS can run "mini apps". Sony already told that the "Calendar" and "Clock" "applications" PSP Go run when closed are just examples of what can be done and they plan to have TONS of mini apps on the PlayStation Store (like Apple has done with the iPhone app store).
PSP Go can do this because it has more memory than regular PSP, and this extra memory is ONLY used for this kind of apps (well, I think developers will use that extra memory and those games will not run on regular PSP's no matter how Sony denies this).
PSP go can also use the XMB in-game, just like PS3 (once again, because of this extra memory pool), and you can play your games using a Sixaxis or Dualshock 3 controller f you Synch the PSP Go with you PS3 via bluetooth.
As you can see, PSP Go do some things the older PSP can not do.

You are going to have to give a link to back those claims up. I have yet to see anywhere that it said these apps were PSP Go exclusive and wouldn't work on the PSP-3000. I have also yet to read anywhere that says the PSP Go will have more memory. Unless you are talking storage, but even then, it isn't more, just built-in. So without links, I do not see what the PSP Go can do over the PSP-3000.PS Go does something PSPx000 can NOT do: It's OS can run "mini apps". That would be great, but do you have a source?
Its the PSP GO! It has a built in 16gb memory card built-in. And you download all your games, other than buying UMD's. But you can still buy UMD's for your PSP now, because sony will start releasing games downloadable, and store-bought together.
