is there a ps3 game that kicks mass effect big time in the near future??

i was wondering...

is there even a game on the ps3 that would actually kick mass effect big time???

it makes me feel a lil regret getting the ps3 when thinking abt it..

don get me wrong I REALLY LOVE MY PS3.....its just....we running short on GREAT games...

as in GREAT,i mean games that would change the face of gaming...

anyone knows any upcoming game that would take down the game??

In all honesty, ME will not "change the face of gaming" either. It looks damn good, no doubt about that, and the story will probably be good,but look at what you are actually doing during gameplay. All the gameplay footage I have seen looks like a rather generic third person shooter. In terms of the RPG elements, this has been done before, perhaps not as well, but still done before. Meanwhile the Ps3 gets games like LittleBigPlanet that do in fact change the face of gaming by inventing a new genre and putting power into the hands of gamers. We must remember that gameplay and not graphics is what "changes the face of gaming." Tinyterror
