Yeah. Valve does not like developing for the PS3. Infact the the only reason the Orange Box was on the PS3 was because EA ported it. I guess they did not feel the need to bring/port L4D on the PS3.
Valve forgot to change their diapers so they are very cranky. But seriously, they think it would be a waste of time to develop games for the PS3. Funny how they complained when they didn't want Left 4 Dead 2 in Australia. I mean c'mon I'm sure I can find at least a few million people who would want to play that series on a PS3. But I'd be dreaming if that ever happened.

Valve complained about Australia becuase Australia wont allow L4D2 (un-edited and censored) to be sold in austrailia, so it's not valve fault.
As far as why not PS3, you may not talk to your teammates but its more fun and you will be better and probably win if you do (esp in VS) and so far PS3's VOIP (or equivilant) is a waste of time. Plus Microsfot went to valve and said 'we want your game' Sony didn't.
What I think is weird is that alot of game developers now port PS exlusive franchises to the Xbox to sell more and earn more, but I don't see the same thing happening in reverse; Xbox franchises being ported to the PS3. :|
