Before I buy a game, if it's heavy in multiplayer, I'd like to know if people are still playing it online. I was looking at MAG, but heard hardly anyone is playing it anymore. A site like that would be awesome and useful.

Also, never forget "BF 1943" when discussing PSN shooters with popularity and legs. That game never dies. But I agree, it would be helpful if some of the games available on PSN had player info on them. Games like "Pychotronic Wars" or "Blacklite Tango Down" look like some fun but if there's no one to play against...
:?
... $15 down the boozer.
Good idea. Perhaps Sony will see this.

[QUOTE="da_chub"]i play mag all the time... I have no issue getting into most games. There is a couple min wait, but matches dont end in 4 min like COD. They can last up to 25 min on domination mode(256 people). There is almost no lag(i have only seen noticeble lag on 2 different occasions over the last yearish) and the game looks great considering how many people are on screen. it has a much better community then COD_____, your teamates work together to take down objectives or revive each other. Whenever i play COD, its mostly lone guns running around for 4 mins shoote, die, respawn, die, respawn. If you dont get mag, then try Battlefield 2. It is almost as good IMO,( it has more vehicles) but it seems like 1/2 the people playing snipe. Also another great ps3 game is Uncharted 2. Great single player, but tons of replay with online.JasonDarksaviorYeh, the community is better. However, leaders expect you to follow their orders and not go "Rambo". going rambo is fine in 8v8 matches. but with 64-256 people, its best to work as a team. things like getting 10xp for a revive and only 5xp for a kill, or getting bonus xp for wins really attempt to make people work towards objectives.
