Is it legal to create a secondary account on ps3 to get into a different Playstation Store? Say if im from America and when creating my secondary account I say im from UK to get access to UK Store. The only reason for doing this is to be able to buy the content that isnt in the US Store. If i do this, wont i get banned or something?

I heard that Sony doesn't like it, but it doesn't appear to be enforced. I have a UK and US account and download all the time. I'm going to set up a japanese account when I have the time

It's not really enforced. They like that people try to give them money. However, it is illegal because you agree that your information is correct, and yet are providing false information about your location.

I am in Hong kong and the local PSn store is crap. I opened another account in USA and Japan and had purchased more than 20 games on those accounts. Everything seems ok now, If they decided to ban me later, I will just throw the PS3 out the window and stick with 360 and PC gaming.

Ok guys, thank you for your replies. I hoped it would be like this. Why would they want to ban me for giving them more money, after all...

I can't really see any problem with it as most of us can't actually buy anything from other stores anyways.

I only use it because sometimes, demos come early in different regions.
