I would not recommend the second one u showed me, cuz the Contrast Ratio is lower, no 1080HD, and the 1st one got picture freeze which seems cool. and dont forget to get the wall brackets :-)

My personal favorite (and, not coincidentally, the TV I own) is the Sharp AQUOS LC-32D42U. You can get one now for under $1,000, which should be the upper limit of what you should pay for a 32" TV.

contrast ratio, how do youy mean ?. yh i know it dont have 1080p, shame that but they only start on the tv's 40" or over and i only have a small room so 32" is the biggest i can go. Well, the second one i showed you is newer from sony i think so should be better right?. I'm not getting brackets coz i dont like the tv being too close to the wall for some reason.

I'm sure it's a good 768p tv, but always check for reviews if it's possible. And whatever that Sony costs, if it's really expensive it can't be that great of a similar priced larger LCD.

I would make sure that the TV accepts a 1080i signal if you plan on watching blu-ray movies on your PS3.

I would think any LCD HD TV can accept 1080i, it would be very odd if one didn't. Same goes as 720p-768p tvs in general, they'd all accept 1080i. Only 1080i tvs sometimes don't accept 720p.
