Graphics on demos ususally are never as good as they will be on the final product.swordfish_64
With that said, I already know the full game version will be much better. Can't wait to rent it!

[QUOTE="2headedhawaiian"]Is the demo out today?? I was not aware...SetsaI thought it was available for dl on friday O.o *runs to PS3* it is friday (in Japan)
EDIT: Also this is my 3rd time playing the game and it's still awesome!
fun? how fun it was??..i hated it, the camera is bad, the controls are worse, the only good thing about the game are the graphics... other than that its an awful game
GOD OF WAR FTW!!
The camera is a bit troublesome in-doors and the fact that you can't save in the demo is a bit frustrating on higher difficulty, but it's a really nice game. Also, when I first played it, I had some trouble getting used to the controls, I always tried to dodge with the right analog stick^^BenderUnit22

every game requires getting used to. Ninja Gaiden didn't become so highly regarded by not being great all-around. keep playing. you'll get it down. once you learn the combos and understand how to dodge and attack, you'll be in love.
understand, it's a hard game. AI isn't retarted. Get ready.
i also havent played Ninja Gaiden since the NES,well... I did play it on the origional Xbox a bit, I just didnt like the xbox controller cause it was huge, the game though is amazing. I played the demo today, and I am really impressed. i like the fact that to use your nippo, you have to press the triangle and circle button at the same time then charge your nippo using the sixaxis. Cant wait till the implement sixaxis more in games, it makes it enjoyable, hopefully when the "shockaxis" comes out supposively, they can patch this game to use rumble and sixaxis at the same time to get somewhat of the ultimate experience

What the hell kind of rocks are you smoking son?
When playing this game, it is unbelieveably important to keep all the enemies in front of you. Or else, you're going to get hacked up from all different angles from the unforgiving enemies. Use the walls to flee from enemies when they surround you and keep a close finger on your L1 and R1 buttons. Take extra care to keep your finger by the block button. You'll use it A LOT. Plus, by holding the block button down, you can quickly roll around using the Left Analog stick.
A technique I used to get over the learning curve for the camera is: rolling back from enemies when you're unsure of how many enemies are on screen. Immediately after rolling back, reset the camera using R1. That way, you can see EVERYTHING in front of you. Now, you can use the right analog stick to gently angle the camera towards your periphery.
The game is fast and the enemies are unforgiving. Just forget about the right thumbstick because you're going to have a really hard time shifting the camera around while fighting. Just like in real life, you can't see behind you. You can only sense it. So stop complaining...Some people never get over the steep learning curve and can't handle this game. You seem to be one of those people. This is an ACTION game. Seriously...don't hate the game. Hate yourself.
P.S.
How can you argue that the camera in this game is worse than Devil May Cry...This game is NOT a button masher. You'd be surprised how deep the system is when you add a little delay here and there. Add a couple of jumps and Ultimate Attacks...The fighting system is almost as deep as Devil May Cry. Except...no weapon switching on the fly...OMFG that would be nasty...

I totally understand about using the right analog stick to dodge dude. By having it on the left stick when you have your block down, it teaches you the importance of ALWAYS having your finger on the Block button. Just try and remember that it's not God of War...But in my honest opinion, it is as good, if not even better than God of War. What puts God of War over the top though in my opinion is its storyline...
