I played for an hour and got a %20 rating. Don't worry about it, just have fun with the game. It takes an average person 8-10 hours to complete, but the % complete rating is more of a unessecarydistaction than anything.
I played through the first time on hard difficulty and it took me about 10-12 hours, but I'm also a little OCD about looking through the environments for treasures and stuff. What difficulty level are you on? I'd recommend that you try and just play a little more relaxedly, since I noticed a lot of my friends also play through some games so fast, they don't even bother to look around at all.
