Its fun, but not a MUST own. I personally think its a little overrated. Its not very long and the replay value isn't great. Unless you think its a game that you will keep going back and playing, I would just rent it, but that's me.
Hell yes! It doesn't have much replay value but the trophies willl give u something to go back and replay the game. The trophies are pretty easy. The story is one of the best stories in a game (best stories are Infamous etc). The cutscenes are good and a average length. (not too long and not too short) U hav to buy this. If you don't, then your just sad!
And to answer your question yes.. Though it is old now, so get it used if you can.. I mean, full price now is quiteridiculous. The reason I say this is because I have seen full price Uncharted's around...
Its my favorite game of this console generation. Can't praise it enough, and with U2:AT coming out this year, then you have plenty of time to beat it before the sequel hits.

Its a linear game. Not really like either of the games you mentioned. It kind of plays like a Devil May Cry game where you get go stage to stage. It also has some platforming. The story is great though and has a nice balance of weapons. I would suggest trying to find it used. Not that it isn't worth $60, but it's been out for a pretty long time. I've seen it used for $40, so I suggest that.
Yes the game is great, but considering that I have seen it as 39.99 used, I think its highly overpriced. Maybe once it drops down to like 20 bucks, for now its a good rental to get ready for the sequel.
