The demo, while good, is one of the weakest chapters of the game. By the time you hit the demo level in the game, you've been introduced to the characters, the story, and you "get it" by then. Things start to take shape and make sense.
Uncharted is an incredible game in every single way from graphics, story, sound, voice acting, character development, presentation, enemy AI, gunplay...everything. Uncharted is worth every single penny and it has shot up to the status of my favorite PS3 game yet.

I feel the same way.
Its a nice beautifully crafted game but its really just a combination of gears meets tomb raider, the gunplay in the demo is about as fun as it gets and the melee doesn't change, the action sequences are nice however few there are of them. The story has been done before (movie wise atleast) and if you haven't watched any golden oldie films then it will feel fresh to you. The graphics are nice but you don't really play a game for them and whilst some will talk up the AI in this game as great its not really the enemies just shift positions behind cover and walls but are typically just nimrods like enemies in any other game.
I will give it credit for being a nice change for ps3 owners considering the dismil year its had but considering I own all the consoles its not really that mindblowing of a game, its good no doubt but not one that makes you go out and buy it day one.

I definitely agree; the game is infinitelybetter than the demo in every single aspect.
Buy Uncharted; you be glad you did.
It has plenty of replayability, because:
So ... the game has plenty of replayability unless you're the type of person who will only beat the game once on easy or medium in 8-10 hours and then have it sit on your shelf and collect dust.
But, if the treasures, medals, rewards, or difficulty levels interest you even remotely, you will get plenty of replayability out of this game. Naughty Dog knows how to keep gamers coming back for more.
Besides, its just pure undeniable fun. In fact, it's the most fun I've had with a single player campaign since God of War II... well worth the $60.

the unlockables in Uncharted are great, there kinda like Achievements on the 360... I wish more ps3 games used the same Idea

Yeah, me too. Luckily, there will be a trophy system when Home comes out.

1)"Melee doesn't change"?Funny then,have you played the same game as I did?
2)"The story has been done b4"? WOOWWW, what an accusation! Has Indiana Jones patented something or what?
3)"Just a combination of gears meets tomb raider"? Interesting, has anyone told you that GeOW was not as innovative as you proclaimed?
4)"The graphics are nice but you don't really play a game for them"? You sure you know what you're talking about? Graphics and soundtracks have become the marrows of the games for quite a while. How the heck can you seprate them from the whole experience of gaming?
