what are you talking about? I see more hate threads than hype threads, especially on sw oO Personally I already own it, so no need to hype it. Also the Vita purchase is justified for me with Disgaea 3 on the go alone, love that game

It is UNDER hyped, imo. Has potential but sony seems to be doing whatever they can to f things up. I'm yet to see ONE ad in the real world. :(

Is the PSvita overhyped? Sigh....Actually it is not. At least now here, Maybe otherplaces but not here.

The Vita has lost most of its hype since E3 last year, and if anything it's now in negative territory as far as expectations go.

It's definitely you. It gets quite a lot of hate over in System Wars, it isn't selling well in Japan I think... Any advertising you see can be expected, seeing as it's a new system.

Its a great piece of hardware with amazing games. The only thing I disliked about the PSP was the one analog stick, because the best games on the system would have been even better with a second analog stick. Peace Walker was great but man I had to battle with the controls for a while before I could start my first mission.

Everyone will want one but the only problem is will they be able to afford such a nice piece of equipment?

It was an eye-candy device at first with all the advertisements and praise it was getting from devs, but after a few months that died down for me and was a little bit disappointed by a few things like, the remote-play and the launch titles.

It was impressive, but not as impressive with concepts like PC tablets running the latest i7 proccessor, and new devices that will probably be better than the PSVita in the later years. Yeah, they are all gimmicks, but gimmicks grow into new concepts and become better.

I did like the reality fighter and those place cards you use to create a game, that was an interesting thing to see. The cameras aren't that great either, the 3DS has a better camera and so do the smart phones.

It's all about bringing greater but newer and unique experiences to a handheld. The PSP failed at that, but it did offer many great games. So I'm a little worried now.

The VITA is hated by everyone here..

Yeah people really want the Vita but they hate that they can't afford it. Actually I probably can't afford it either. I'm not gonna hate on it though I'll just save up or start packing my own lunch.

I'd say it's quite the opposite, i rarly hear about the PSVita within the mainstream. The only information ive seen on it has come from topic orented sites like this, gaming sites, tech sites etc. and not much advertising elsewhere.

the only the thing when the vita is hyped is when the the vita droped its price now that is overhyped

Looking at the current sales in Japan, seems like it didn't get enough hype to begin with.
