It's so hard to find the new 40gig Ps3!!!

I live canada toronto and seriusly i was so excited because i asked my Mom for money for my birthday and she will drive me tostores. I expected Wal-Mart that all their Ps3s was sold out. I tried every Mall, i even tried Pacific Mall and those chinise people said they were out. I mean i can just buy it on Ebay but the shipping is too long =))

keep trying,it really is worth it.Unlike me looking everywhere for the nintendo wii and then never playing it again.

the 40gb has its disadvantages. it only has 2 usb ports and 1 memory card reader(camera memory card( not ps2/1))

60gb has 4 usb ports and 3 memory card readers each for a different type.

and it has less stuff. so go for the 60gb and the 80gb.

i have a 60gb. i live in australia. they discontinued the 60gb in aus like last month.

so u can only get the 40gb black ps3 in aus. its kinda gay lol.

so go for the 60gb or the 80gb.

I'll give you a perfect example, its mine. I used to really bash the PS3, I'm sorry I did, I' am now a fellow PS3 owner. Once the price went down to $400 I knew I had to get one, its really a great deal for what you get. I just built a nice home theater system and needed a hi-def player to go with it, and the PS3 does that. I was amazed by the amount of supported audio formats the PS3 supports, not to mention it comes with HDMI 1.3 out of the box. I own a 360 and yes it is very cool, but I'm sick and tired of having it freeze on a weekly basis, paying for XBL (idk, $50 a year isn't a much though, but still no dedicated servers), and having all these stupid micro transactions for content on top of it. I love my PS3 now and I bet a lot more people in my spot are going to buy one.

Where in VA are you? I was just out at Pentagon City (the mall across the street from The Pentagon), and the GameStop there (on the food court level, the other Gamestop in that mall only sells used games and dvds) had 6 40 gig PS3s left in stock.

I live in Newport News, VA and I got mine at Gamestop yesterday at lunch!
