I've decided to buy a PSP...but

Need help with the games,one game i know i will buy is tekken dark resurrection,what other games are there worth buying?what are the top 5 games on the psp?

Grand Theft auto Liberty city stories (must have)

Metal Gear solid Portable Ops (the other ones suck)

Coded arms (really good if you like FPS)

Power Stone Collection (good if you've played power stone, loading times are very anoying but pass that, plays great)

Burnout Legends (if you like the burnout series, if not, it will make you a fan), i don't like dominator that much but it's good also

Well the top 5 will vary from person to person due to personal preference but my top 5 would have to be

Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops

Tekken 5: Dark Ressurection

Monster Hunter Freedom

Either Daxter or Ratchet and Clank: Size Matters

And Kingdom of Paradise warrants a mention for my sixth spot. Why is there a sixth spot for a top 5 list? Well you already said you were going to get Tekken so I thought you might want a top 5 list that didn't count Tekken.

Ok,the good thing about is graphics and sounds and stuff,but gets boring after.

1) God of War: Chains of Olympus- I don't care that this game hasn't come out yet. I will buy this game as soon as it comes out. I will buy one less PS3 game this Fall so I can play this game. Who wouldn't want to have God of War "To-Go"? There is no doubt in my mind that this game will live up to the high standards its PS2 brothers have. A MUST OWN!

2) Tekken: Dark Ressurection- Smart choice my friend...smart choice. See my review of this game if you want to know what I think of it. Playing this game on your PSP makes you feel like you're walking around with an arcade machine in your pocket. If you have a friend with a PSP, you guys can play ad-hoc with each other. You only need one copy of the game. If that doesn't impress you, nothing will.

3) Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror- Handheld games should not look this good...I mean seriously. They're not supposed to look this good. This game plays VERY WELL and has a level of polish on it that few games, on any platform, can match. The controls are surprisingly responsive, deep, and easy to learn. It really is as good as advertised. One of the best PSP games available.

4) Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII- I will always fondly remember playing and enjoying Final Fantasy VII as a kid. After a bunch of really crappy spin offs to the series, such as Advent Children and Dirge of Cerberus, Square Enix has decided to actually make an RPG telling the story of Zack. Cameos will be made by Cloud, Sephiroth, and Aeris. I am looking forward to this game's release.

5) Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops- I'm putting this game here simply because of the hype. I have NOT played this game yet. Why? Because I chose to spend my money on a PS3 instead...I chose to buy Syphon Filter instead. Yes, the game (Syphon Filter) is THAT good. And yes, I am a Metal Gear fan. When the price drops, I'll buy it. So should you.

Honorable Mention: Daxter, Burnout Legends, Ratchet and Clank, Lumines, Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions, Crush.

Note:

I am well aware that I did not add Grand Theft Auto Liberty City Stories and Grand Theft Auto Vice City Stories on this list. You can buy these games for your PS2. They are not as good as GTA III, Vice City, or San Andreas. I see no reason to waste your time or money on them unless you MUST play a portable version of GTA.

Everything I listed above is a PSP exclusive. I think Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror is currently being ported to PS2 though...

Crisis Core is dated for release in Japan September 13th with no release date for North Americayet.

w8 till e3 2 c if they announce the new psp cuz it might come out on either august or september so it wud be better if u w8ed and got the new pspmohammad93

Dude, type like a normal person and the might not even be a new PSP. Anyways in my opinion get 1 rpg(tales of radiant mythology..when it comes out in 2 weeks), 1 shooting(MGS/GTA), killzone and ratchet and clank
