There is no problem whatsoever with the PS3 online. I've used skate., Madden 08, MLB 2K7 and Tiger Woods 08 over a wireless network with no problems. In fact, my only problem is when I sign in on my PS3, my Windows computer in the same gets kicked off the web and I have to input a ridiculously long WEP key again(one of the many reasons I just got a Mac).
There is no problem with the online service, most of the problems are from a weak wifi signal or something interfering with the signal in the area. Some IP's have a problem maintaining a strong signal because so many other people are drawing off the same cable in a single area or neighborhood.
I have DSL and the signal stays consistant all the time although it may not be as fast as some cable systems, but it stays consistant all day long regadless of what's happening down the street or in the neighborhood.

I think you got that problem because you have conflicting IP. (IP conflict)
Like kicking you off and stuff. Is this true? I haven'tgotten a ps3 yet, but I need to know this.

If you get kicked off in Warhawk or RFOM, it's because the host of the game is having problems, this has nothing to do with the service. On official matches, there is no lag and no disconnects.

I've been kicked off because of connection problems in every online game. (I have a good service also 10Mb down)
getting kicked off of games are normal, some people have had problems with their PS3 signing off of the network , but it reconnects. Could be the way how the router is set up.
