Jak and Daxter vs Ratchet and Clank, which franchise is better?

Love both and I also love Sly Cooper...but I gotta vote for Ratchet on this one.

Jak and Daxter. If I have to swing a wrench at another crate to gather more nuts and bolts I'm gonna lose it. The only reason this question is unfair is because Insomniac over-saturated the Playstation library with games and there was bound to be a gem or two in there. Would I want another Jak and Daxter? No, but if I have to choose between these two franchises, than yes.

Jak and Daxter had much more integrity and felt more put together. Ratchet had great characters and story but repetitive gameplay and the checkpoints made me want to dip my head in boiling water.

Ratchet and Clank.

I really only like the 1st Jak and Dextar.

Ratchet & Clank, as it has more games and they did not give up on it.

I like both series, but I've had way more fun with Ratchet and Clank over the years.

I preferred Jak and Daxter... but Sly Cooper was better than both.

I like em both, and I wish Sly Cooper was in this category, but I'm gonna stick with Ratchet and Clank. Jak and Daxter declined in quality with the 2nd game for me, while Ratchet and Clank kept things fun and engaging for all 3 PS2 titles.

I never really got into Jak & Daxter for whatever reason... But I've always loved Ratchet & Clank. And yeah, Sly should be on the list.

Jak had lower lows (namely Jak II), Ratchet had higher highs. R & C can keep going and going and I'd be happy with that.

Ratchet and Clank. The weapons, humor, and platforming were awesome. Hope they make a brand new Ratchet adventure soon.

Love both franchises but I slightly prefer Ratchet & Clank.

Jak and daxter all the way.

Rachet and clank are for the more kidy like people and is more comical, is way too easy of a game to take serious, I mean where is the challenge seriously, it just seems to be all platforming and shooting, every one of them. Jak and daxter, they are a serious bunch going through alot of troubling issues that are both heart wrenching and messed up. It follows through an incredable story line, and get this, its npt only plat forming and shooting, but its open world, 75% less loadinv screens, fighting, driving Way more than jst a ship. Oh, and dont even let me get Started on dark and light jak with diffrent skill abilities each.

Racheg and Clank has been Blown out the water. Oh and just in case your wondering,

Im 27 years old and all jak and daxter rachet and clank games I grew up with, so im not making a biased decision, just facts.

I love both. I played Jak first so it has a special place in my heart. But I prefer the Ratchet & Clank series.

Didn't really play many games when the PS2 launched. Played Jak 2, 3 and X. The most I've played of Ratchet and Clank is Nexus and a demo for one of the future games.

That being said, I just found Nexus to be somewhat fun. Granted, I know Nexus is shorter than the rest, but I'm not a big fan of the shooting focus. But I think that may have more to do with the weapon selection.

I know Jak 2 added guns and made things more serious but I preferred the hub like area and Dark Jak. Oh and the 2 more melee moves it had.

J&D all the way. After hearing nothing but hype for the later, I bought the HD collection. One is great, but 2 & 3 are absolute chores.

Ratchet and Clank is the better series.... Though I liked the original Jak and Daxter better than any of the R&C games.

A game of Ratchet and Clank Versus Jak and Daxter would be good. If they can make a move f Batman VS Superman then Sony and company could make a game where Ratchet and Clank have to fight Jak and Daxter. You need a good story premise make this work

I love both series however prefer R&C

Although Ratchet and Clank and Jak and Daxter are two equally awesome gaming franchises with their own merits, I prefer the former.
