Ok. So I've checked the bugs list and it has not stated anything about this.

But it seems, since I've downloaded Point Lookout and Operation Anchorage. I've been having problems with Broken Steel's side quests. Apparently, the Jefferson Memorial has now become a "killzone" in terms of game crashing. Trying to open the door to get inside is a game killer and so is walking on the bridge outside JM on route to Rivet City. I've attempted this five times now. So I'm sure it wasn't a random freeze.

I'm curious to know if anybody else has faced this problem? I have an original copy with all DLC installed. It was never like this prior to installing PL and OA (I've had BS, Pitt and MSZ installed prior without problems)

I also cannot seem to fast travel to Rivet City and the general area of Rivet City is a killzone as well. This stinks...

I lost 64 hours because of an unplayable glitch. I was in rivet city, then went into another room, when suddenly it wouldn't let me look or aim, it was just locked, couldn't look anywhere. At first I thought it was the controller, but no, definitely a really bad glitch. I tried everything, but it was just locked in place. I could move my character, but you can't play if you can't look or aim. The weird thing is that it worked when I brought the pip boy up, just didn't duting gameplay. :?

I got the GOTY and haven't experienced that I was getting a crash about every 15 minutes when playing broken steel, so I wouldn't doubt anyone saying they found a new bug in this game.

I just hope Bethesda has caught on to this with a patch as a result. Just confirming this isn't a random problem as I've attempted multiple times. Fast travel gets me stuck in a loading loop.

I guess I'll be sending them an email about this...

Meh, the game was running fine until I completed the main plotline (I just bought GOTY edition), I've since completed Operation Anchorage, visited Point Lookout, completed The Pitt, and now I'm collecting up all the bobbleheads I'd missed. But ever since finishing the main story quests the game has become unstable as... well, an unstable thing! Random frame rate drops, freezing for up to 30 seconds, and random crashes. It's actually become nigh on unplayable, which is annoying. I'm going to start a fresh game though, and see if it improves things although there's every chance once I finish the main questline it'll happen all over again.
