So I only have enough GS credit to get one. I've never played Uncharted but it looks fun. I played the demo for Journey and loved it and I also have Flower.

Both are the same price...

Uncharted 1 and 2 hands down. The Uncharted series is one of the best PS3 exclusives and Uncharted 2 won tons of awards, you'll get more value for money as they are about 8-12hrs each, whilst Joureny can be beating in one sitting lasting about 2-4hrs.

I would say Journey simply because I prefer these types of games. On the other hand, Uncharted will probably last you longer than Journey though.

Journey is a good game but I would personally pick up Uncharted series. Phenomenal experience. :)

Neither game is better but rather different. It's an Apples and Bananas comparison really . . . Considering power up rewards members can currently get both Uncharted 1 AND 2 for the price of Journey I'm going to have to advise getting Uncharted. Uncharted 1 remains underrated and most people will tell you that Uncharted 2 is Sony's crown jewel for this generation. Sure this decision is a matter of taste, but if you don't mind either type of game then why not get Uncharted?

Yeah I have that power up rewards 50% off coupon. The reason I'm on the edge is that I enjoy Journey and those types of games, but they don't really last long. I find myself playing Flower every once in a blue moon.

I'll go with Uncharted since it will last longer, and get Journey later. I have my eye on that soundtrack...

Journey if you want to play a 2 hour game, Uncharted 1 and 2 if you want a good game. But mind you Uncharted 3 blows.

Soo Journey is listed for its length and Uncharted for its quality... Anyway, If you haven't played Uncharted by now it then you're probably not that eager to play it lol. You will get more value from Uncharted, however Journey is such a majestic PSN title, you'll get more than 4 hours if you enjoy it.

Just my opinion, a 2-3 hour game isn't quality.

No, it is quality. It doesn't last as long your typical full-priced retail game, yes - but it does provide an experience like no other game. So, you know, there is that.

That's a very tough decision. If I were you, since you have the 50% off coupon for 1 or more collections, I would find some way to get both. It would only come to about $35 dollars, and I believe that anything you trade in to purchase those collections gets an added 50% value. Having said that, the Uncharted games are all excellent games and will last you quite a while, but I have honestly never had an experience like I had while playing Journey. It really is one of the best games ever created. I would probably go with the Journey collection, especially since there will probably be an Uncharted bundle with all three games in the future.

I wasn't even aware that you guys at the FAU still played vido games

But anyways, it all depends on what types of game that you like. If you want games that are more about the experience and artistic presentation, go for the Journey Collection. It also comes with Flower and flOw, though neither had the full impact that playing Journey does.

If you want to play a shooter with plots that are cliched but cliches done extremely well, great characters, and some of the best action setpieces in the industry, go for the Uncharted bundle. Uncharted 2's multiplayer also does provide a lot of lasting value, provided that the community for that game is still at the current decently sized 10-15k average if you decide to pick it up. Plus, all the Uncharted 2 multiplayer dlc was made free on the Store.

I'm not in FAU.

Don't care for flOw or Flower. Journey, on the other hand, is one of greatest games of this gen.

Uncharted 2 is in my top 5 of this gen, but the multiplayer is a bore.

You're entitled to your opinion but that doesn't make it any less ignorant because length/playtime has nothing to do with quality of the game.

I love Journey, but I vote Uncharted. Journey is way too short for me to recommend over Uncharted.

I really regret buying Journey. Some people love it but I didn't feel that way about it. They see things in it that I just didn't see. The main thing I seen in Journey was wasted potential. Uncharted gets my vote.

While I enjoyed Journey and thought it was great, it doesn't weigh up to Uncharted 1+2, especially when you look at replay value.

Just got both a while back. Journey delivered a good time but didn't entertain for long and I also think it's a bit over rated for what it is.

Journey isn't my type of game, and as a result looks very boring. Uncharted is a fun action adventure with excellent characters and storytelling, so I'd say that all day long.
