one question..HOW!!?? i'm stuck at the part where you have to climb into the plane to get the map and then fight your way out again...

it is actually IMPOSSIBLE!! :(:(

Oh my was that extremely difficult. Playing through on crushing took 17 hours because of all of the dying involved. Now I have all treasures and 980 of 1000 medal points, doughnut Drake here I come! Has anyone else played through on crushing? Your thoughts? And are you excited to see what doughnut Drake looks like? I sure am.Tedsteriscool

I'm not even on crushing yet, I'm slowly making my way through hard mode:shock:

I havnt played Uncharted on anything over Medium lol.

I also dislike the "twist" near the end of the game. Kinda ruined it a bit for me. It makes the "Runner & Gunner" trophy easier to achieve though :P

Anyway, I didn't find crushing all that tough. Don't get me wrong, it was hard, but I got through it pretty quickly.

Before the trophy patch, I beat Uncharted 3 times - normal, hard, crushing.

Now with the trophy patch, I've beaten it another 2 and a half times - normal, hard, halfway through crushing.

I guess when you play something that much you become pretty good.:P

One question. If i pass the game on crushing, does it automatically unlock the trophies for normal, easy and hard? Pelon208

Yes but you need to play through on Hard to unlock crushing. If you've unlocked crushing and need all the trophies then yes, play through on crushing and you will unlock the Easy, Normal, Hard and Crushing trophy.

I found that fire fight to be the hardest one in the Crushing mode (Rotunda fire fight was EASY compared to the airplane scene). Here is what I did:

- Drop down from the airplane

- Throw a grenade between the blocks where the bad guys are gonna run (if you get it right you will kill 2 bad guys)

- Run back to the big wall

- Pop one guy at a time from the corner of the wall, be prepared some guys come to you outside your field of view and will pop up right next to you, be ready to use the brutal combo on them.

I did the stupid thing and played on Normal first, after you beat it you will get the Easy and Normal Trophies. I got all the trophies on this playthrogh so when I played on Hard I could use all the rewards including choosing any weapons I want.

Now on Crushing, the Weapons Select, Slow Motion and Super Slow Motion are not available.

Another thing that made my life easier was to set Fast Motion to On, even on firefights, and when you are dying too much on fire fights turn that off, the enemies will look like they are in slow motion.

17 Hours? You must be joking. It felt like no time at all when i completed it on Crushing. I did skip all cutscenes though, if they count as time

I platinumed it. Crushing was more tedious than anything - just doing certain parts over and over and over until you figured out the correct strategy. The funny part was that some parts I thought were going to be really hard were actually quite easy, and some run-of-the-mill parts took me forever to get through.

Its possible lol. I rem i had similar issues with that place but the best strategy i used which came outa me getting pissed is to charge at them. See once you come down the plane,you gotta rush at them aggressively cause they be coming down pines n rocks,so u get a nice cover in front of that wall,so you pop everyone who comes down with bullets

Seriously, CONGRATS to all that have accomplished this. I'm working through Crushing now and it is no joke. I'm literally pushing my way through checkpoint by checkpoint. On Chapter 14 now. Getting there...

I played it through on Hard the first time and didn't think it was that bad, so I seriously underestimated Crushing.

LOL was thinking the same thing.

For the most part it wasn't overly difficult. I finished it in about 6 hours on crushing, but that's not to say there weren't frustrations. There were some gunfights that really got annoying, in particular a shootout in the monastery area towards the end where you get swarmed from all sides. It was satisfying to finally finish it.

I'm probably never going to play anything besides normal mode. Honestly I've got many games that are still collecting dust that I haven't even played yet, I want to get through em all!
