How can the Playstation plus be such a good deal? I got a free 30 day membership, and I get all of the crash bandicoot games for free, free full trial demos for 60 days, all of these free themes, free minis, and even more junk. How cansony even get away with this? do the games expire after every month when new content is released? or do you get to keep everything? (aside from the expiring full game trials of course) this just seems like too good of a deal, and im wondering why anyone would even consider NOT buying playstation plus. its just too darn good!

As long as your subscription is valid you keep all freebies. Anything you buy with a discount is yours to keep whatever happens. The Crash Bandicoot games are mint but this month hasn't been a great month for PS Plus. It gets better. STOP COMPLAINING!

I signed up in the middle of September. I did it to save 50% on Resident Evil 4. So in 10 weeks these are the freebies I've got: PS3: Burnout Paradise, Dead Nation, Costume Quest, Uncharted 3 multiplayer, Hydrophobia Prophecy & Planets vs Zombies. PS1: Crash Bandicoot 1-3, Crash Team Racing, James Pond 2, Resident Evil Director's Cut, Altered Beast and more. Some of these games are great for my kids. PS Plus is well worth it imo.

You get cloud saving and automatic updates as well. It's worth it just for those, the games can be hit and miss.

You don't lose it persay, but rather it get's locked on your XMB until you re-subscribe. Yes it's silly, but It is the way it is. I guess Sony has to cover their backsides because of all the losses of profit they've had over the life cycle of PS3.

Oh yeah PS+ is TOTALLY worth it,...if I didn't already have the stuff they've been giving away.

Yep, after the Great PSN outage, when we got the free month of +, we got Burnout Paradise. I never deleted it after the free month ran out. So when I signed up to + in September it was unlocked. And Burnout Paradise is a brilliant game.
