Just bought a PS3 with no games.

I'm wondering what i should get for my first game? I already have a 360 and most of the multiplat games available, so no multiplat suggestions.

I was thinking resistance but wondered if there was any other suggestions.

Resistance is good.

Some people really like Motorstorm. (I do not) 

If you haven't played Oblivion yet, consider picking up the PS3 version. If you go by the actual written reviews, both Gamespot and IGN go on to say that is looks slightly better and has significantly reduced loading times.

Yeah.. At the moment, these are the more obvious choices. Also, download some demos.

yep these are your best bets!

I thought he said no multiplats... Anyway, Resistance and Motorstorm are your best choices atm, but you may not like Motorstorm as it's a love it or hate it game as it seems on these forums.mr_so_evil

True. But there are people out there that haven't experienced Oblivion on the PC or another gaming system.

In which case, I would recommend Oblivion before any other PS3 game. Resistance included! :D

Not to mention he'd be getting the best version of the game (console-wise) if he opted for the PS3 version of Oblivion. 

 Oblivion if you don't already have it.Resistance is boring and over-rated IMO.Motorstorm isn't much better.It will be a few more months before an eye opening game is released for PS3 and im getting tired of waiting....

I actually wasn't too impressed with GTHD, personally. But it was free, so I'll stop my ****:lol: Oblivion, however, is a true must have!

your first problem is u bought a ps3...

id fix that. the ps3 has no good games, except motorstorm.

Yeah. I can't imagine buying a system with the 2006 Game of the Year. I mean, it must have no good games.

If I were you i would get resistance, i use to didnt like it now im completely in love with that game, its the best shooter out by far & if your a basketball fan NBA 2k7 is a great bball simulation, but far as motorstorm go its over hyped & you might want to check out spider man 3 may 4th, Hope you were intrigued by my opinion.

Bought Resistance today, so will be looking foward to playing that tomorrow when my PS3 arrives. I also ordered Motorstorm, which should get here Tuesday. Oblivion is a really good game but i already have it on my 360.

Anyway, once again, cheers. I will be posting here more now.
