Just Bought A PSP!

Hello Everyone,

Well, I finally gave in. I've bought a PSP White (to match my DS Lite White). I've been a big fan of my Nintendo DS and it's helped me fall in love with the whole aspect of portable games consoles, to be honest I've ownly ever owned a Nintendo GameBoy Colour and I never really played it. But I use my DS all the time and have played some superb games on it.

There is one big reason I've decided to get a PSP, it's simply a small popular game called Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops. I'm a big MGS fan and have loved nearly every game that I've played in the series, I may even consider trying the Metal Gear Solid Acid games. My ownly real problem with the Nintendo DS is simply that it doesn't really provide enough media aspects, theres a small Pictochat program but it's nothing very special. But the DS is still a superb Console, thats why I've bought a PSP. I was amazed at some of the stuff people are doing with the PSP, I've even seen people use it to play PSOne games and it really looks as if it's got a lot of cool extras that Sony don't want us to be using. I've bought MGS: Portable Ops, Burnout Legends (big Burnout fan) and GTA: Vice City Stories. I've also bought a 1gb stick for people cool stuff on my PSP such as wallpapers and other stuff, although I'm not totally sure how much I will be able to put on there, How much music?

Anyway, looking forward to giving MGS a try.
Hopefully people will stop calling me a DS Fanboy, I'm no fanboy of any console and I actually feel that the DS and PSP are very different port consoles.

you wont fit much music on 1 gig, especially with all the game saves and whatnot. id say around 200 songs or so, its a decent amount though.Call_me_Daddy

  I swear that that is the biggest BULL SH1T A55 coment I've ever heard in my life the DS Lite is totally better. Wheres the touch screen PSP, HUH where is it. OH, I forgot you don't have one!!! Wait does a PSP have 2 screens, NOPE!!! Does the PSP have little micro chips for video games. NOPE again it has UMD!!! It has freaken gay a55 UMD!!! Who ever agrees with this so called "QUOTE"  you might as well check yourself to an aslym!!!

Oh **** dude i had a ds and it was crap you dont even need the two screens one is pointless when playing 2 the the graphics and as good and three touch screen big woop if a psp really needed one it would have one but it dosent and four can you put music vidoes and pictures on a ds no you get big bad picto chat who the hell needs that??So screw you

Nintendo Fanboys always seem to be around trolling threads about happy newly PSP Owners, I`m REALLY starting to think that those DS boys are JEALOUS because they made the WRONG desition on buying the DS instead of the PSP and try to DEFEND to DEATH the Piece of sh!t DS, trying to make outstanding the additional Screen ( not exactly needed) and the Touchscreen ( OVERRATED), and claim the PSP LACKS those 2, but the truth is PSP doesn`t need them, so is just childish to say that the PSP sucks because of that, when actually the DS sucks because DOES NOT use Dual nor Touchscreen at it`s best, the second screen is just a map, how aweasome is that???

psp isn't expensive at all my brother. the ps3 is, but well worth it since it can last you at least 5 years of gaming rather than a expensive computor.And ps3 games are fully customised to suit the ps3, which would make full use of the psp's power! about a computor...you'll need to manually configure ur settings urself.pigsybum

i just my psp also. i got it with GTA liberty city stories. all i can say is WOW!! i was completely blown away by it. it looks and plays like any other GTA games...only now it's on a handheld!! WOW!! i'm completely satified with my purchase...no regrets. IMHO, psp blows ds right out of the water. i bought a ds lite when it first came out. but i subsequently returned it because i didn't like the way it feels and the ds games that i played were pretty disappointing. canadianloonie
