just bought army of two today and I thought the game is just an alright kinda game, nothing special to it, cod4 is way better, just my opinion, I'll probly swap it back to ebgames tomorrow and just pre-order mgs...johnlennon28
Can you really compare COD4 to it though? Two different shooters. I plan on renting it today.

not really a fan of shooters, cod4 is the first shooter Ive ever liked, thats why I could only compare it to cod4, if you like shooters you might see this game differently from how Ive seen it, I guess renting it first is a good idea
I can't believe you actually bought that game.
It's horrible. I rented it and returned it the same day...
You can get $45-$50 if you sell it on Ebay. You basically just spent $35-$40 to rent Army of Two... lol

yea pretty much lol, but I could swap it with a different game anyway, or if I cant find a better one I might just get a refund, Ive done it before with ebgames, evrytime Id buy a game and I dont like it I would just swap it, refund or get a store credit which is pretty cool

yea big mistake on my part, its because I read some of the posts here saying that the game is good, and I got carried away lol...
Hey TC, did you try playing the game with someone? The game's biggest appeal is the co-op.
Mcortijo01
no I didnt, cudnt get any of my mates to come over, and my girlfriend is just not into videogames, that maybe one of the reason why it didnt interest me, but I dunno, I just dont feel it, the gameplay, the controls, the loadings that takes ages, oh and I tried to give it another chance but it even froze two times, so nah, this game might be good for some people but for me, I just didnt like it

The game is good, just so happens you don't like it.
lol
yea, just so happens less than half the people who bought it don't like it. ;)
No one I've talked to likes this game.

So you're saying more than half the people that bought it like it? That could be anywhere from 51-100% of Ao2 owners. Isn't that good?
Who've you talked to?

My opinon is:
U should try to test the game by urself (demo, trailer) and dont w8 for ppl to tell u wather the game is good or bad.
I like some games that i feel many ppl dislike but this doesn't bother me.

That's good advice. I own Ao2 and play co-op with my brother. It's a good time. Not ground-breakingly innovative/life-changing like everyone wants every game to be, but fun and worth the time and money.

yea I figured that one out too, but I got a crappy internet connection, It takes forever to play a video on my connection, its like "buffering... 1%" after 10 min its only at 2%, same thing with my psn, I just have no patience waiting, owell, gonna get a faster internet soon
I happen to think AoT is quite fun. Is it the best gaming experience I've ever had? No, but so what. It's still fun.
It's a bit more Arcade-y than most of the reality based shooters that have come out, but that extra bit of 80's action movie flair is a nice change-up after the very heavy, reality based games like RS:V, COD4, GRAW2.
Call it a palate cleanser before Rs:V2.
Not everyone will like it, and that's as it should be, but what I don't understand is the hatred people seem to have for this game. Why is it so offensive that others may spend $60 of their money on this game?
Yeah, I'm glad I bought it. It's one hell of a great game. If you don't like shooters....why did you buy this? :|

AoT just seems to be the game to hate lately, not sure why, maybe has something to do with EA, bc it seems like EA is the company/producer to hate

Yeah. I mean, I can understand folks being wary of a game, based on it's publisher's track record and the game's early reviews (back in October), but now people's blind hatred of it is plain stupid.
As for EA being the company to hate, I do know many people hate them, and I don't know why. Not saying there isn't a reason for the EA Hate, only that I am unaware of the reason. Could someone enlighten me?
In other AoT news: y'all think GameSpot will ever see fit to get a review of it out?
