hey,

I'm on an 80GB PS3 Fat (the version right before the slim came out, no BC)

newest updated firmware

i ordered Dead Space, NEW, came in from amazon today sealed and all

when i put the game in, i start it and everything goes smoothly. After pressing start at the title screen, it begins to load the trophies onto my PSN but then stops at 80%, says

"an error has occurred. (80022D03)"

I press circle and it says "please quit Dead Space", without any option to play anyway.

I then return to the XMB.

i've tried it 6 times.

of the six,

one was after a system shut down/turn on

one was signed into PSN like normal

one was with no ethernet connected

one was on a different account

EA support lines are closed.

Could someone please help me play this game I just paid for.

:(

While on the phone with EA, we determined that the trophies load from the CD, as with ethernet UNPLUGGED it still goes to 80%. went to dead space, swapped the disc, even tried it on a different account on my ps3, no luck :( i just wanna play the game man! any ideas?

You can always rent the game from a local rental store and swapped discs if yours so happens to be faulty.

Um... Amazon isn't some cheap little online store. They are big, and I have an extensive relationship with them. They don't make mistakes often, you just got unlucky. They would get in EXTREME trouble for selling burnt discs. He already got a replacement and no luck.

Try restoring your default settings or sync your trophies. If that doesn't work, try calling Sony for help.
