Just Bought PS3.......................

It came with Assasins Creed 2 and Fifa 10,

Firstly, is it recommended that i buy and beat Assasins creed 1 before getting in to the second game?

Secondly, im a big fan of racing games, just wondering what the best ones on the market are or if its best i just wait for GT5 next year?

Yes, AC2 is the direct sequel of 1, so it'll help alot.

ac1 is a rent fro sure. might even want to skip it and just read up on the story.

as for racing, gt will own next year for sure. but burnout paradise is cheap and fun for everyone. i personally am not a big fan of racing games but bp has a ton to do, is really addicting, and all the dlc is excellent and FREE.

grid or shift (patch is good) if for the closest thing to a sim fix before gt5, or prologue of course

Also, definitely get GT5 next year since Forza 3 isn't on PS3 (they're both amazing, it's just Forza 3 is already out... please no fanboy hatred)... and in the meantime, some good racing games out now are Motorstorm Pacific Rift, Need for Speed Shift and DiRT 2.

Rent or just see a review of the story for the first one since it has awful gameplay and is very repetitive. Shoot you might not even want to play 2 after dealing with it. 2 I have heard is a great improvement over it so just play that one.

Just purchase the game, it's less then 19$ in majority of the stores. It' was well worth 60$ when it was released and more then even now with lower then 20$. It's a prequel to most of Assassin's Creed 2 story and overall good game.

You can watch IGN's, Gametrailers or even Gamespot's video reviews, though honestly, I don't put any faith into such things. Use you own judgement. ;)

If you need good racing games try; Grid, burnout paradise, or dirt 2

Motorstorm 1 or 2, Wipeout HD from the PS Store is great and has a DL for a whole new experience after you finish the first game, or Burnout Paradise.

You should rent AC1 to get the story, but other than the plot, AC1 isn't a very good game, however AC2 is outstanding. And you should wait for GT5 to be released next year. I also reccomend Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, inFAMOUS, and Ratchet and Clank Future: A Crack in Time.

Get either dirt 2 or burnout paradise. Those games are much, much better than MC.

And I concur. Rent AC1 first. Then Buy the second. AC1 is very repetitive and not really worth your money. AC2 is waaay better.
