Just Cause 2.... Hype

I was lookin thru the up comin releases coz i was lookin 4 games to buy over the holidays (but i kinda went into september...) when i saw just cause 2.. appratently the 1st one got a 7.5 or sumthin frm gamespot (pc, ps2, 360, xbox) and gs got a preview and it looked pretty good. Its releasin in Q3 this year anyone know how good the 1st one really is?? Anyone actually hyped bout this 1?? CHeck it out:

What was the 1st one like? GS in their preview didnt giv that much detail witht the actual gameplay stats...

It was awesome, the graphics and physics wernt top notch but what else do you want with 100 square miles of game to explore?unrealplaya55

Hmm well from wha i saw wit the preview... grabbin on helicopters, parachutin and stuf i wud say they might hav imporved the physics? 100 square miles really???

I never played the first and i'm now gonna try and decide wether 2 buy it or not i mean there r so many other BIG releases comin out... GS need to dig into this abit more.

I loved the first Just Cause, i thought that it was really good, with some of the best looking cutscenes on PS2 i think.

The story was that you were Rico Rodriquez, a Special Agent working for some faceless yank, who was quite funny to be fair, had to take down some factions on a fictional South American island.

It was a very good game.

I bought it for like 8.3$ and I thought it didn't deserve a penny from what i've payed, I played for like the first five missions or so it offered nice weird new ideas but then it got to a point where I didn't know if it was utter crap or a real crappy Robert Rodriguez movie !

After this hour and a half playtime, this game was thrown aside soon replaced by the old GTA: Vice City (to erase my memories about this one I had to play a great old game), soon after I bought PS3 and Resistance: Fall of Man and the cycle went on...

So the new Just Cause better impress me and to answer your question this game doesn't attract my attention at all and the new one better kill for me to even try it out at a friend's place.
