Youare also forgetting howrevolutionary Metal Gear Online will be.I dont think so, I think it will be just like MGS3 online, which was kinda boring after awhile and not to revolutionary. I could really care less about MGS online, but if they have the controls and camera setup like they do in MGS4, it could be a little more value then MGS3 was.
Maybe more revolutionary than anything, ever.H8s2spooge
I bought the Warhawk launchbundle a while ago, mostly for the headset, but I wanted to try out the game too. As soon as I started, I encountered several immediate severe problems (in my opinion);
1. The text was too small to read; I don't know about most of you but I don't have a huge HDTV
2. Creating/Joining an online match is overcomplicated; it took me a while just to get into any sort of decent game
3. There is no difference betweenranked and custom matches, which is the biggest problem I have with the game. Every game I tried to join was already half-way done, and I had no chance of winning because whoever created the game most likely picked a type of game he knew he could win easily.
4. I tried talking to some people in some of the games I attempted to play in, and the communication was shaky at best.
5. Someone I spoke to sent me a message after the game was over, and there was nowhere for me to open it and read it.
6. Barely anyone joined the games I attempted to create, and they quickly got boring.
7. All of the matches, regardless of type (zones, ctf, dm, or tmdm) seemed to be a chaotic frenzy and all matches seemed to have a huge lack of balance in terms of the teams.
8. In all of the team-based games, the teams can be changed in the middle of the match, and there is always one team that is ridiculously better/higher ranked than the other team; they're never fair.
All of this may seem like a big tangent, but a do have a point here. That is an explanation of why I personally appreciate Resistance online so much and I think it the best format of online play ever. It is hands-down and undoubtedly the most user-friendly online menu/game out right now. I was never once frustrated while playing Resistance online.
On the other hand, I never once had any fun or lack of frustration while playing Warhawk online. When I first started playing the game one-on-one against a friend, my reaction was that I would have changed some things and done some things differently, but overall, it was well-done, especially with regard to the actual Warhawk fighter jets. The online mode, however, completely destroyed the experience and the fun for me.
I never want to give up on a game, but I came really close with Warhawk. If you have anysolutions to my problems with Warhawk, or advice on how I can improve my experience and have more fun playing it, please let me know.
