Just got a Pelican Intercooler...

I could not be happier with it.  I know alot of you always say "Its not needed" but this thing kicks @ss!  It moves about 2 to 3 times the amount of air through my PS3.  Before the air coming out was very harm, now its like almost room temp.  It has its own power supply and blends almost perfectly with my PS3. It can get kinda noisy but its really not that bad, My PC is still louder than it.  I took a couple a pics, but I dont know how to upload them on here.

It does get kinda loud. Louder than the PS3 normal noise level, but its not to bad. It gets about as loud as my PC.

It does not block the air vents, the hot air still comes out that side just ALOT faster since it has 5 fans. I also took it off and checked it out, and the reviewers are wrong about the fan layout. All of the fans are pullers: they draw the air out air out, not push air in. The temp of the air coming out is quit a few degrees cooler, you will notice a big difference if you get one. It even folds faster. The normal fan inside the PS3 still pushes plenty of air out of the back aswell (the vents that the Pelican cooler does not touch) In all I would say it moves at least twice the amount of air through the PS3 and that can only be a good thing. The only real complaint I have is the orange light up power switch for it, they should have made it black and not light up. Its kinda of annoying to me.

lol looking at those pictures i was wondering where the intercooler was lol i expected it to be white or something...that looks pretty cool, im going to get a intercooler aswell, im gonna take care of my baby

I can never buy an intercooler, it will just make my PS3 work extra hard.

It's OK if your PS3 is blowing out warm/hot air, that's normal. And it also really depends on the surronding air temp. It's a cool add-on, hope it works well for you!
