OK I bring it home yesterday and plug it into the internet and the download took like 40 minutes to update the system before it would let me online. I downloaded the 1.70 this morning. Can someone please tell me why PS3 downloads are so slow?
Because everyone esle is trying to do the same thing also the speed of your own connection, type of connection and other factors such as weather effect the speed of downloads, nothing much you can do about it.
Well I know my speeds good its 4986 kbs down. Bascally I have a 5mb down connection. andrewtrs3
that's a good connection but as i said other factors come into play, such as the amount of people trying to acess the servers at the same time as you the servers can only handle so much in one go.. plus distance you have to go to Sony servers, weather ect etc.
