just got a ps3, what games should i get first?

hey everybody i just got myself a new 80gb ps3, any game/accessory suggestions?

by the way i already have a 360, so im looking for the exclusives

If you're into first person shooters, I'd say KILLZONE! Or the first Resistance.

If you're a sports fan, MLB 09=AMAZING:)

If you want an online shooter, SOCOM Confrontation (the reviews are irrelevant)

A fun racing game is Motorstorm Pacific Rift

Uncharted is great, Little Big Planet really great, Metal Gear Solid 4=A MUST.

a headset, another controller. killzone 2, motorstorm, heavenly sword, warhawk, MGS4, and socom.

don't be like some of the other deadbeats that complain about the lack of people talking on the PSN. GET A HEADSET (THE OFFICIAL ONE)

IMO you should either get Killzone 2, MGS4, LBP, or Uncharted.

thanks guys, i think im leaning towards littlebigplanet and mgs4 or killzone 2 for my first two games right now..

i was thinking of getting socom but it doesn't look that great except a lot of my friends have it , and its only 30 bucks.. still dont think im gonna get it though

im still open to more suggestions, and also a headset + a 2nd controller is definitely a good idea

also drakes fortune looks good but i think i'll wait for the 2nd one to come out

but i think my first move is going to be to download the demos for these games too before i make my decision

also flower looks really cool, how much does it cost and how does the ps3 network work??

There should be enough variety there to keep you occupied for a long time(If you become a Trophy Nut, then a lttile longer time on them). You should be busy till Infamous, GT5, White Knight Chronicles, Heavy Rain, God of War 3, and Uncharted 2 come out(All exclusives by the way).

Want to kill people as a chick with a huge transforming sword? Heavenly Sword

Wanna kill people with guns in the jungle and ancient ruins? Uncharted

Need some sexy stealth action? MGS4

Wanna shoot people...only!?:o Killzone 2

Want a unique RPG-strategy-turn-based game combination? Valkyria Chronicles

The Orange Box...yeah, i know you said exclusives, but this is a game you must have, doesn't matter what console, besides is way to cheap by now if you can affor the new ones.

Exclusives? well, they already mention the important ones, if you ask me Valkyria Chornicles and MGS4 are the best ones.

you should get Resistance: Fall Of Man, its like really cheap now and awesomely good....

Also you should get Metal gear Solid 4, its like the best Ps3 exclusive.... i bought it like six months after release... its still pretty much full price now, but its totally worth it.

I cannot stress this enough. GO WITH WHAT YOU LIKE. Look around. Research info on games that have caught your eye. Unless you have money to burn to buy random things based on what some random guy on a message board types, I suggest you rely on yourself when deciding to buy a game.

I have MGS4, Killzone 2, LBP, Unchartered, Ninja Gaiden Sigma and valkyria chronicles, all great exlusive titles, should definantly try them out yourself.

Metal Gear Solid 4 is probably the best one to invest in if your looking for exclusives, I've also heard that LBP is great, though I don't own it.......yet!

I know Amazon has them in stock for sure. He could always go there. I have heard its been discontinued, but I wouldn't really know. All I know is that I got my copy at launch, so I'm set. My favorite game this gen.

i got mine new off ebay there seems to be a fair few available on there.

little big planet, metal gear solid 4, uncharted, and killzone. those are some DAMN GOOD exclusives, pick em up
