Befor I made a topic saying I am going to sell my ds for a psp, so i just traded with my bro and god of war is sick, he hated his psp and i hated my ds,timpaniman10

Being a media player and ability to do custom things to psp is a turn on to the mature crowd(18+). Which also makes it cool to teens and preteens. however the ds has the girl and kiddy market. I think 9 in 10 children(6 to 11) and females prefer ds over psp. But the psp will catch and its catching on.

i have both and i just got a psp last sunday and i find myself more in anticipation for ninja gaiden ds than final fantasy suck VII:crisis crap.

Ok first of all go back to school and learn english. Idk why people think the DS is better than the PSP. the psp has better graphics, games imo, and is sooooo versatile (it can do so many different things). I understand that the DS appeals to younger kids that are under 12 or 13. But, in the department for teens and above (13+) The psp is definitly the better choice and has better games. Anyone 13+ that thinks the DS is better that the PSP needs to get their ears and eyes checked pronto!

OK I agree with you that that guy needs to learn how to type properly but I disagree on your logic. You cannot define a system onto age groups, unless it's like Leap Frog or something like that. It all depends on taste and preference really. I have both a DS and PSP (idort lol) and I like them both equally. So don't just think that the DS is only for little kids because it certainly is NOT.

Ever heard of a back catalogue, if this guy has just gotten a PSP he's not played some of the great games that are already out like Syphon Filter, Burnout Legends, Tekken, Monster Hunter etc. I hate how people only look to the future of a console when it has so many great games in the past that you'd be stupid not to play. It's like if you bought a PS2 right now and someone said it was a stupid decision because there are no good games coming out, of course there aren't but there are hundreds of amazing old games you can find for really cheap now.

I got both consoles, PSP (according to me) is better because of all you can do with it! Movie, music, pictures AND games.

Oh yeah, so suddenly the DS is part of the "kiddy" market?. The last time i checked the long lines in Japan for a DS, they were all Adults. Now we may never know if they were purchasing for themselves or for their children but statistics show that more Adults are using the DS than the "kiddy" market. I still prefer the PSP over the DS.
