Are you using the ps3 controller or a steering wheel?

its a sim racer so its suppose to be realistic and racing a real car aint easy, especially if you had to drive one with a freaking controller. if you want a fun and easy to play racer, get burnout paradise or midnight club or any arcade racer.

GRID is really more of an arcade racer disguised as a sim. The controls feel realistic, but in truth they're very forgiving. If anything you could say it falls sort of inbetween sim and full blown arcade.

Anyway, it's not that hard once you get a feel for it. I play alot of racing games though.

Hmm, that's kinda wierd. It's the easiest racer I've ever played. Just hold down accelerate and start turning way before the corner and it's simple.

I don't think it's so hard and if you screw up on a certain corner you can always rewind back using flashback on offline races to make sure you do it correctly next time. You just have to learn to brake much earlier on sharp corners. I think it's the best racing game on the PS3 I like it better then the GranTurismoseries Codemasters know how to make a racing game fun.

It takes a couple evenings to get used to, after that it's pretty easy. Start turning before you get to a corner, as it takes the car a second to catch up. You don't actually slow down for corners, you just give the brake pedal a quick stab. It's very much an arcade racer - I can't believe anyone would call it a sim or in any way realistic. You can be doing 100 mph down a straightaway, tap the brakes for 1/4 second, and then you can go around a 90 degree corner LOL.

I was thinking of picking this up since it's fairly cheap. How does it compare to Dirt 2 (also by codemasters)? Dirt 2 was fairly easy to win all the races until the last couple of difficulty levels. The 2nd hardest difficulty was a real challenge - but I could win with what I felt was a perfect race (for me with a controller). On the max difficulty I couldn't even win a race. Problem with Dirt is if you start getting aggressive it makes it REALLY easy to roll over and wreck. Probably didn't help that I am using the controller. Every once in awhile you run into an "expert" online. Or look at some of the people's "ghost" times and you wonder how they do it. I can't even follow their ghost.
