Just got HDTV for PS3

I got rid of my old TV to get HD. I don't have an HDMI thing so I was wondering if the graphics without it would look better than standard definition.

you need either component cables or an HDMI cable, get one off amazon for like $3

Yes as long as you have at least COMPONENT cables, the ones included with the PS3 are standard def only, so if you use those its pretty much the same as plaing on your old tv, I've had my new HD setup now for a week and loving it.
