Man! my excitement dropped from 600 light years. i moved to an apartment for the summer... for an internship and ish. 2 TV's, one has AV but the remote won't work. Sad thing is its one of those TV's u can't switch to AV without a remote. 2nd TV is larger but doesnt even have AV. Tried connecting through the VCR but there's no pic, i guess its the resolution. there's sound though.

So now here i am, after spending $720 on my ps3 and 2 games, i'm stuck for at least the day. I'm gonna go check if new haven has any discount stores where i can get a used TV with all the necesities for about $50. It funny yet sad! lol!

Yall got any suggestions, pls lemme know!

THanks

A universal remote for your TV might end up fixing the problem for the first one.

no he cant,  I had this similar problem at one time...i dropped my TV while i was moving and the sensors on the TV broke, so the remote could not work anymore.  Now the Geniuses who created the TV didn't put a input change button on the TV.

is your universal remote a cable remote if so look at the back of the cable book(if you still have it.) and look at the make of the tv. there should be a 4 digit code for your tv. try that to hold you over for the night. but yes rent a center is a good deal if you have the money. that is how i got my 52" hdtv because i couln't not afford all that money at once. it is all payed off. the good thing is if something goes wrong with the tv they lend you another while they send it out to fix it.

sorry to hear that,

btw for many problems on tv's that are SD (im guessing that's what you have) where you only here sound, try this

press the PS3 ON button for like 6-10 seconds.  (from a complete off)

Get the RF modulator at Best Buy - then see if you can figure out something you are happier with. If you do return it within 30 days - if not keep it....simple

I see..You must have had your PS3 originaly connected via HDMI or Component,  and this TV only has composite...

I dunno how Rayh knew that,  since you never said so,  but good job!
