Just got my PS3, first impressions.

Well first of all I'd like to clarify by "just got my PS3" I mean my bestbuy MGS4/Killzone 2 bundle arrived a few hours ago and I was far too preoccupied (addicted) to killzone 2 to leave. Aside from the relatively large amount of updates and installations I had to perform, I'm having a blast with it. As a previous wii only owner I haven't play an FPS even close to as good as this.

Also I set it to Veteran difficulty as that's the hardest availiable from the get go. It started off as a beatable challenge. Now its "OMG" hard. I just finished fighting the ATAC. I don't even know how many deaths it took me to figure out there was a tunnel to hide in. Even then, missiles still hurt, a lot.

Anyway, simply put, loving the PS3. Just wish I had an HD TV.

Let me be the first to congratulate you on your smart choice to move from Wii to the PS3. Since you seem to enjoy Killzone I can tell that the Wii was probably the wrong choice for you, as it does not have many of the type of games as Killzone. Stay Sharp, ~Leon Xion~nplucia0911

I don't own a Wii or want one "BUT" I can't stand console bashing...buying the PS3 just expanded his already greatgaming collection.

Imagine the Haze bundle, a Yellow PS3, plus the YLOD as a bonus. :)

Congrats on your purchase and I can relate to you as I am also a wii owner. Games you should check out - Infamous, Fallout 3, Uncharted 1, and Dead Space.

I would NOT buy the haze / lair budnle and I would be shocked if someone would. :-P

If only you had gotten it a day sooner. I just fought the ATAC yesterday and I did not know there was a tunnel to hide in until now. I must have died like 50 times on that damn thing before finally beating it. Congrats on buying a PS3 with 2 awesome games though.
