Just got PS3 today and I have a couple of problems

Ok, I got the PS3 and every time I update a game it takes so slow. Can anyone explain this to me? Also, sometimes I get disconnected..

No, it is not my internet connection. I never lag in Resistance 2 when I play multiplayer.

it could also be that the psn servers are jammed because my connections been slow too when it shouldnt be :P

i dont know if the updates have any relvance to that though...mine ran fine

Just have patience. Usually this time of year, servers for everything are sluggish due to new people logging in online.

Maybe it's because I have to update all those patches? I hope the PSN servers can be fixed by tomorrow. If not, I am going to scream.

I am interested in getting a PS3 and was wandering what updates you have? Are the firmware patches large (i.e. its going to be over 1 gigabyte in date it will be downloading, or is it a few megabyte downloads in sucession)?

No Lag for me so far been ok if you have a router that could be the problem there settings for those.

also, make sure your router dont have firewall builtin, it will logoff.

No it's just the Holidays I'd say, loads of people at home clogging up the PS Network. T

The LBP servers were off this a.m. for instance, although they might be back up now. I don't know. Warhawk's running fine.
